There is a social garden in the Gwarków Square, next to the electricians’ workshop.
Social garden is a public space: a meeting place suitable for those who have finished visiting the Museum and want to stay a little longer and spend time walking among the plants and the historical mine’s architecture. One of the features of the social garden is the area allotted for amateur cultivation of domesticated plants. The design of all elements of the garden follows a consistent and uniform style using natural materials, based on simple lines that perfectly fit into the strongly industrial character of the place. The whole is complemented by decorative plants growing in wooden crates.
Decorative grasses, shrubs of blooming hydrangeas and perennials such as catnip, bellflowers and rudbeckias grow here, making the site visually attractive throughout its life. The garden is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
