Museum Store

The Museum Store on level -2A of the venue at ul. Dobrowolskiego offers a wide selection of products related to Silesian traditions: great gifts and regional souvenirs alike. The friendly atmosphere, inviting interior and staff make visitors and customers feel special.

The bookstore offers books on the art, design, architecture, history and culture of Silesia from renowned publishers, as well as a wide selection of children’s books. Some of the regional authors include: Józef Krzyk, Marcin Szewczyk, Kazimierz Gołba and Marek Szołtysek. The musical corner has vinyl records, CDs and DVDs by artists who live in or come from Silesia.

The Museum Store also offers gifts drawing upon paintings by Polish 19th and 20th-century painters collected by Muzeum Śląskie. A mug or a key ring with a painting reproduction will be a unique souvenir. Museum visitors also love our modern gadgets inspired by the Silesian dialect.

In the seating area with green sofas, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and read a magazine or a book. This is a great place to relax after visiting exhibitions.

At the Cafe Museum Store, next to the store, you can discuss art while having a piece of cake and coffee made by excellent baristas. You will be surrounded by reproductions of Museum paintings.

We recommend the seasonal offering, which will warm you up on a wintery afternoon and cool you down on a hot summer day. The menu includes standard cakes, desserts and regional kopalnioki, bombony and oblaty.

The place also offers something special for children! At our young artist corner, they can try their hand at being an artist and create a unique work of art on a real easel or drafting table!
