Everything is Achieved Through Hope. Cultural Heritage of Reformation in Silesia

The show celebrates the Year of Reformation and highlights the rich 500-year tradition of Reformation in Silesia. The focus on the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (Lutheran Church) is meant to encourage reflection on the presence of Lutherans in Silesia and provide insight into their religious identity. The exhibition also looks at this strand of Protestantism as a driving force behind the broadly defined culture of Silesia. The point of departure within this narrative is religion meant as a spiritual rebirth, which provides dogmatic base for the Augsburg Confession and informs non-material culture.
